With the U of A’s Homecoming festivities and five major craft fairs planned around town, there is plenty of fun to be had in NWA this weekend.

• 🦅 Flying High: Back for its 70th year, the War Eagle Fair will bring together creatives from across the nation. The War Eagle Valley will be alive with handcrafted goods from pottery to art to food and jewelry and so much more in Hindsville from Oct 17-19.

• 🍖 Smokin’ The Competition: The Northwest Arkansas Festival will feature three days of arts, crafts, music, and fun, as well as a professional BBQ competition in Bella Vista from Oct 17-19.

• 🛍️ Let’s Craft: Shop 300+ booths of unique shopping, food trucks, craft demonstrations, and live music during the Ozark Regional Arts & Crafts Festivals in Springdale and Fayetteville from Oct 17-19.

• 🍁 It’s Fall Y’all: Join over 100 makers, artists, crafters, and foodies at the annual It's Fall Y'all Craft Fair, October 17-20, 2024, at the Benton County Fairgrounds!

• 🐶 100 And Counting: Join Best Friends Pet Resource Center in Bentonville for the Long-Stay Soirée, a celebration and showcase of the dogs who have been in Best Friends' care for 100 days or more, on Friday, Oct 18, from 5-7p.

• 🚜 Heavy Lifting: Witness heavy equipment operators showcasing their skills during the first-ever Siloam Springs Equipment Rodeo this Saturday, Oct 19, at 9a.

• 📣 Peppin’ & Steppin’: The 2024 Homecoming Pep Rally will feature performances by the Spirit Squad and Razorback Bands and the announcement of the 2024 Homecoming King and Queen at the Chi Omega Greek Theatre on Friday, Oct 18, at 7p. The Homecoming Step Show will take place afterward on the Union Mall at 8:30p.

• 🏀 Like Slam: Shaquille O’Neal is coming to Fayetteville this fall for a DJ Diesel (Shaq’s DJ act) performance at JJ’s Live on Friday, Oct 18, the night before the Razorbacks take on his alma mater, LSU.

• 👻 Ghouls Night: Summon the squad for a Ghouls Night Out in Downtown Springdale, featuring great deals at local businesses, a bar+business crawl, and a costume contest this Friday, Oct 18, from 4p-midnight.

• 🛍️ Off To Market: Peruse and shop a marketplace of one-of-a-kind creators, designers, collectors, and curators during the Big Giant Art & Flea Market at Startfront Studios in Bentonville this Saturday, Oct 19, from 11a-3p.

• 👢 Battle For The Boot: Coming off an electrifying upset over Tennessee, the Hogs are headed back into Razorback Stadium for our southern state-line rivalry against LSU, the Battle for the Golden Boot, this Saturday, Oct 19, at 6p.

• 🌭 Short & Swift: The Bella Vista Animal Shelter will host its 19th Annual Wiener vs Corgi Dog Races at 1991 Forest Hills Blvd. on Saturday, Oct 19, from 9a-2p.

• 🏝️ Island Culture: Celebrate the opening of Crystal Bridges’ new exhibit, Navigating Lolelaplap, with free family activities, art making, a gallery talk, a guided tour of the exhibition, and more this Saturday, Oct 19, from 1-4p.

Campfire Ranch Adventure Lodge Coming to Bella Vista

Campfire Ranch, a Colorado-based outdoor hospitality brand, is opening its first adventure lodge in Bella Vista next spring.

• The Lodge: The new lodge will be located at the historic E. Faye Jones-designed Inn at Bella Vista. Guests can stay in one of 8 rooms or book the entire lodge for private events. The property will feature a pool, fire pit, outdoor cooking space, and an indoor lounge and bar, with breakfast served daily.

• The Adventure: Campfire Ranch Little Sugar will sit directly on the 40-mile Little Sugar trail system, offering instant access to world-class biking, hiking, and trail running. The lodge will also offer an Adventure Concierge to connect guests with local activities like mountain biking, hiking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.
