Yesterday afternoon around 3p, Marck Industries Recycling Center in Rogers caught on fire, sending up an enormous plume of smoke and ash that could be seen from as far away as Bella Vista, Fayetteville, and Eureka Springs.
Four-Alarm Fire: The Rogers Fire Department classified the incident as a four-alarm fire, meaning the entire building was on fire. The fire may continue to burn for several days but has been deemed manageable. So far, over 3,000 gallons of water have been used to fight the flames, and departments from all over NWA have been working together to extinguish the fire.
