Kids Explore Natural Science at Botanical Garden of the Ozark’s Butterfly Camp
The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks is planning an exciting summer day-time Butterfly Camp for kids 8-11 years old, including hands-on lessons, exciting science projects, and engaging pollinator activities from Jul 29 to Aug 2.
Little Scientists: Led by dedicated butterfly volunteers and Garden staff members, campers will observe butterflies, caterpillars, and eggs up close using hand lenses and microscopes and learn important information about butterfly habitats, life cycles, behaviors, and more.
Keep Learning: Kids will collect data and contribute to valuable research on butterflies and their habitats. Plus, each camper will receive a caterpillar cage and a caterpillar to raise at home so they can continue supporting these important pollinators.

Rogers Envisions The Future Of 71B and Walnut St Following Significant Storm Damage
The City of Rogers, in partnership with ULI NWA, DPZ CoDesign, Groundwork NWA, the Excellerate Foundation, and the Small Business Association, will host a community conversation to discuss the redevelopment and modernization of areas affected by the recent tornados at Rogers City Hall this Monday, Jul 15, from 3-6p.
Looking Forward: On Memorial Weekend 2024, tornadoes swept through Northwest Arkansas, leaving a significant wake of damage, especially along Highway 71B and W Walnut Street in Rogers. The City hopes to rebuild this crucial corridor with the future in mind, making it more resilient, vibrant, and community-centered than ever.
From The Ashes: Attendees will gain insights into the city's new form-based code, which aims to shape the future development of the corridor with increased density and enhanced walkability in mind.
