Excellerate Foundation Launches Groundbreaking Solution For Teacher Housing In Bentonville

This week, Excellerate Foundation broke ground on the McAuley Place project, a 160-unit affordable housing development located just east of the Bentonville Community Center that will house teachers, staff, and other residents of the Bentonville school district.

  • Building HOMES: Through a first-of-its-kind mutual equity model called Home Ownership Mutual Equity Solutions (HOMES), residents can begin the journey toward home ownership without the drawbacks. After up to five years, HOMES participants will leave the program with a financial foundation for home ownership, including up to $50,000 for the purchase of their own home.

  • Can We Build It: As a community, we can rally around this mission to provide affordable workforce housing through advocacy and donations to the Teacher Homes Fund — every donation of up to $100 will receive a 1:1 match from Excellerate Foundation.
