Take a Tour Around the World at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks

The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will celebrate the many cultures that make up the Northwest Arkansas community during the 7th Annual International Festival this Sunday, Sep 10, from 3-7p.

  • Come One, Come All: In conjunction with Welcoming Week NWA (Sep 8-17) — a series of events bringing together immigrants, refugees, and native-born residents to encourage inclusivity and collective prosperity. Experts will be present, sharing about resources for immigrants, refugees, and other marginalized communities.

  • Global Garden: Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy dinner from one of several food truck vendors while witnessing traditional dances and musical performances on the Great Lawn. Take a stroll around the Garden and explore booths featuring arts and crafts, displays, and cultural items for sale.

#NWAChampionship Week Tickets On Sale Now

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, presented by P&G, returns Sep 23 – Oct 1 to Pinnacle Country Club, bringing an exciting week of events to the region.

  • On the Run: The #NWAChampionship Week will once again feature a variety of community-driven events and experiences, including the 5k @ the LPGA benefiting Mercy and an enhanced onsite area for families — the Walmart and P&G Kids Confidence Club.

  • Razorback Red: Tournament officials are thrilled to announce that the field will include a robust lineup of current and former Arkansas Razorback student-athletes, including Brooke Matthews and Miriam Ayora, who both have received exemptions to compete in the event.

Race Through The Woods During the Here’s Johnny 10K Trail Run

Tap into your inner Jack Torrance during the inaugural Here’s Johnny 10k trail run at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve on Saturday, Oct 7.

  • All Work, No Play: The Here's Johnny 10k will feature technical trails for those looking to take the next step in trail running. Racers will navigate the eerie woods of Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, starting in the misty valley and weaving through parts of the Here’s Johnny trail before returning to The Homestead.

  • Shining Performance: All racers will receive a special-edition finisher medal and t-shirt. Awards will be given out to the top overall runners as well as the top 3 in each age group. Sign up by Sep 14 to guarantee your t-shirt size.

Explore the Flavors of Northwest Arkansas During the 4th Annual Tour De Tacos

The 4th Annual Tour de Tacos starts rolling this Saturday, Sep 9, bringing riders together around the love of cycling and food for a great cause!

  • Support: All rides start and finish at JUNK Brands in Bentonville and benefit women and families seeking economic independence through Dress for Success. Day-of-event registration will open at 6a on Saturday, so the last-minute tacos enthusiasts can still get in on the fun!

  • Taco ’bout Fun: Tour de Tacos includes 62, 30, and 7-mile bike rides along the Razorback Greenway, with restaurants and businesses set up along the path to provide cyclists food and hydration. A Block Party will be set up at the finish line, where you can enjoy taco vendors, drinks, live music, and community booths.

Celebrate the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters NWA during the annual BIG Event, taking place at Osage House in Cave Springs on Thursday, Sep 14, at 6p.

  • Role Model: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas inspires the potential of youth by organizing one-to-one mentoring relationships that contribute to social and emotional development. The annual BIG Event celebrates the impact that BBBS makes in NWA and showcases the influence that our Bigs have in the community.

  • Big Time: Join the celebration and see who gets named Big & Little of the Year. This is a great opportunity to network with community leaders and learn how to get involved with BBBS. There will be an open bar, a sit-down dinner, and a silent/live auction.
