Metallica is set to play a live show at Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville on May 26, 2027.

NWA Bike-a-Palooza Returns To Bella Vista

NWA Bike-a-Palooza returns to Bella Vista on Friday, Sep 18, through Saturday, Sep 19, for a weekend-long celebration of Northwest Arkansas’s cycling community.

  • A Wheely Good Time: On Friday night, all registered cyclists will enjoy a laid-back Tour de Sugar Creek Cruise, featuring a group ride, a light bite, and live music along the way.

A Nonprofit Bookstore Reopens in Springdale

Two Friends Community Books, a pay-what-you-can bookshop, has officially reopened, with its new spot located on East Emma Avenue in Springdale.

  • Read All About It: The shop is stocked with new and donated books, including titles in Spanish and Marshallese, spanning adult and children's fiction and nonfiction. Guests can take books home in exchange for a donation that will be used to restock the shelves.

  • Shelf Care: The Springdale shop is open seven days a week and shares the space with three other businesses — In Bloom, Snip and Sprout, and KaGie’s.

Botanical Garden in Bentonville To Open In 2028

Yesterday, we shared that the Bentonville Planning Commission was considering a downtown botanical garden at the former home of Bud Walton, brother of Walmart’s founder Sam Walton.

  • Center Stage: Well, the botanical garden has been approved! The property will be named Central House & Gardens, and it is scheduled to open to the public in the summer of 2028.

  • Digging This: The space will feature culinary options managed by Juniper Tree Restaurants, LLC, cycling and walking trails connecting to the Greenway, community events, gardens, outdoor art, an updated atrium and veranda, and more.
