Crystal Bridges To Turn Hallways Into Galleries
Crystal Bridges in Bentonville launched a new art initiative as part of its recent 114,000 sqft expansion.
Everything Everywhere: The program is called Art Everywhere, and it turns stairwells, elevators, and restrooms into full-blown art galleries.
All At Once: The museum will commission works from ten artists, challenging the idea that art can only be experienced in traditional gallery settings. A companion Library Everywhere program also places books throughout the museum for guests to enjoy.

Bella Vista Weighs New Curbside Recycling Program
Bella Vista could finally get curbside recycling as soon as Friday, Jan 1, 2027.
Bin There, Done That: This is a service most other Northwest Arkansas cities have offered for years while Bella Vista residents have relied only on the local recycling center.
Waste No Time: The one-year trial depends on 1,250 households signing up by Thursday, Dec 31. If that mark is hit, then pickups will begin soon after.

Fayetteville Invests in Public Transit Options
The City of Fayetteville invested $500,000 to expand public transportation through two major service upgrades launching in August.
All Aboard! Razorback Transit will take over service along College Avenue, with buses arriving every 30 minutes, new Saturday service, and extended weekday hours from 6a–11:30p. Meanwhile, Ozark Regional Transit will double frequency on Route 20 in South Fayetteville, cutting wait times from 60 to 30 minutes.
Catch the Bus: Together, the two transit systems provide nearly 2 million rides each year, all fare-free.
