Lead-ing the Way: The study evaluated drinking water for lead and five forever chemicals in the college town with the largest university by enrollment in each state. Fayetteville earned a B rating for lead levels, making it one of only eight cities surveyed to meet lead regulations.

Water an Honor! Nearly one-third of all cities in the study received a C grade or lower for the presence of dangerous chemicals, placing Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas among the top-ranked college towns for drinking water quality.
