AR’s First Dick’s Sporting Goods To Open In Lowell

Arkansas’s first-ever Dick’s Sporting Goods store is expected to open in Lowell in 2028.

The 16th Annual NWA Women’s Expo & Great Tastes Food Expo returns to the Benton County Fairgrounds in Bentonville on Saturday, Apr 25, and Sunday, Apr 26.

Circles NWA Is Seeking Financial Program Participants

Circles NWA is recruiting participants to join its community-driven program that helps individuals and families move up and out of poverty here in Northwest Arkansas.

  • The Details: The cohort will launch this fall in Fayetteville on Wednesday evenings from 6-8p, where participants will meet weekly for SMART goal setting, expense tracking, networking to build social capital, and encouragement through the Circles model, helping to create long-term financial stability. Meals and childcare will be provided.

  • Help Is Available: If you are feeling stuck, living paycheck to paycheck, and would like to have support in reaching your goals, consider applying to be a part of Circles NWA’s 18-month cohort.

Pup Crawl Rolls Through Downtown Fayetteville

The 13th Annual Dickson Street Pup Crawl will roll through Downtown Fayetteville this Saturday, Apr 25, at 2p.

  • Pub Pup Crawl: The crawl will benefit Fayetteville Animal Services, bringing pups and people together for a fun night out. A ticket is $50 and includes a commemorative T-shirt, dog bandana, pup-themed drink specials, and a roaming professional photographer capturing all the fun throughout the night.
