Bentonvilleβs mayor recently delivered the annual State of the City address, sharing successes and areas for development as the city continues to expand.
Metro Boominβ: The city boomed last year, with the opening of 35 new restaurants, a new Walmart Headquarters, the welcoming of Alice L. Walton School of Medicine's inaugural class, plus national media attention and many investments in local parks.

Some of the fastest mountain bikers in the world are back for the Walmart U.S. Pro Cup at Centennial Park in Fayetteville from Wednesday, Mar 18, through Sunday, Mar 22.
World-Class Racing: Professional cyclists will bike Centennial Parkβs 2.9-mile Olympic-style course, with top names expected, including Olympic medalists and world champions.
Wheelie Fun For All: The weekend also features amateur competitions, a cycling industry expo, and food trucks, giving fans and families a chance to explore Fayettevilleβs trail network and enjoy a festival-style atmosphere.
