Three New Residential Housing Projects Expected In Fayetteville

Front Porch Real Estate and Hometown Collective, a local builder, will break ground on three new residential developments in Fayetteville this year.

  • Porch Partners: The residential development partnership will bring carefully designed homes and townhomes to some of Northwest Arkansas’s most sought-after neighborhoods, with several new projects already planned for cool locations in Fayetteville.

  • Urban Living: The three developments include a 17-unit townhome community near the Fayetteville Square, two custom single-family homes in East Fayetteville expected this summer, and four urban detached homes on South School Ave currently in planning for late 2026 to early 2027.

New Bar Opens In Bentonville

A new bar has officially opened in Downtown Bentonville, giving the community another neighborhood hangout.

  • Ale’s Well: Fry continues the legacy of owner Kyle Reidy’s Bentonville Dive, with beers priced between $3.50 and $7. The space shares a patio with the popular food truck, The Pastrami Wagon.

  • Horsing Around: Named after baby seahorses, also called fry, the bar features seahorse-themed murals, showcasing Reidy’s passion for the creatures.

Hot Tunes & High Kicks Hit Walton Arts Center

Broadway’s hit musical Some Like It Hot will be at Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville from Tuesday, Mar 17, through Sunday, Mar 22.

  • A Runaway Adventure: Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, this Tony Award–winning musical follows two musicians who witness a mob hit and flee the city, hopping a cross-country train while disguised in an all-female band. Expect lively jazz numbers, fun dance routines, and a hilarious chase as gangsters stay hot on their trail.

  • Sip Before the Show: Want to elevate the evening? Add a $45 cocktail class before curtain time and enjoy light appetizers from Fire and Lightning Catering while local mixologists teach you to craft two specialty cocktails.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade Rolls Through Eureka Springs

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a few days early in Eureka Springs for its annual parade on Saturday, Mar 14.

  • A Lucky Forecast: As of today, the forecast is looking great for an outdoor celebration, just in time to enjoy one of the town’s favorite traditions.

  • Lucky Charms: The parade rolls through Downtown from 2-3p, starting at the library and passing the Post Office, Basin Park, and City Hall.

Bentonville Seeks Artists for New Public Installations

Bentonville is seeking proposals from local and regional artists for two exciting public art projects.

  • Art in Play: Proposals are due Wednesday, Apr 29 for sculptural artwork to be installed beside the state’s first regulation-size cricket pitch at Creekside Park in Bentonville. The project is valued at $30,000.

  • Traffic-Stopping Creativity: Submissions are open until Wednesday, May 27 for a large-scale sculpture to enhance a high-traffic roundabout near the NWACC and Walmart HQ campuses. The project is valued at $50,000.
