The City of Rogers and other partners are exploring the feasibility of a boutique hotel in Downtown, where the former Amos building is located.

NWA Regional Planning Commission Unveils 2050 Transportation Plan

The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission released the Forward 2050 Regional Transportation Plan, outlining transportation needs for an estimated population of 1M by 2050.

  • Roads To The Future: The plan identifies $6B in infrastructure needs, with proposals that include managed lanes on I-49, expanded trail systems, design guidelines across 31 cities in Benton and Washington counties, plus much more.

  • Rapid Growth: The team emphasized that the region adds more than 40 residents daily and must begin planning now, with project timelines expected to span 20–25 years.
