Downtown Bentonville Hosts Haunted Holler Themed First Friday

Downtown Bentonville's October First Friday will transform the Square into Haunted Holler on Oct 3 from 11a-9p.

  • Who Ya Gonna Call? From yoga under the Great Pumpkin to a full evening of live music, scavenger hunts, and a Halloween costume parade, the Bentonville Square will be buzzing with haunted happenings. Don’t miss mainstage acts like Po Ramblin Boys and Jukebox Confession, plus the Razorback Spirit Squad and the crowd-favorite Thriller dance!

  • Ghostbusters! Carve up some competition in the Pumpkin Carving Contest, explore themed vendor zones, and snag pics with Ghostbusters or while bull riding in the Thrill Yard. Families can also enjoy the Kids Zone and inclusive offerings like Sensory Alley.

  • 🛠️ Tinker This, Tinker That: Tinkerfest at the Amazeum is a one-day festival on Saturday, Oct 4, from 10a-5p where families participate in hands-on activities led by local makers, artists, engineers, and scientists, plus exhibits from regional and national museums & science centers.

  • 🌕 Howlin’ to the Moon: Hillberry the Harvest Moon Festival returns to The Farm Campground in Eureka Springs from Wednesday, Oct 8, through Sunday, Oct 12, featuring five nights of live music, camping, workshops, and vendors.

  • 🧵 A Fair-ly Great Time: War Eagle Craft Fair features over 300 indoor and outdoor booths, food trucks, live music, a petting zoo, and family activities, happening Thursday, Oct 16, through Saturday, Oct 18, from 9a-6p.

  • 🧀 The Cheese Touch: Author Jeff Kinney hosts the Partypooper Show at Walton Arts Center on Tuesday, Oct 28, from 7-8:30p, celebrating his 20th Diary of a Wimpy Kid book. A $22 ticket includes two seats and one signed copy of the new book.

  • 🧛 Neck’s Best Thing: A Comedy of Terrors runs Friday, Oct 17, through Sunday, Oct 19, at The Medium in Springdale and Friday, Oct 31, at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville. The production features a 90-minute comedic take on Bram Stoker's vampire tale, incorporating humor inspired by Mel Brooks and Monty Python.

Best Friends Super Adoption Brings 300+ Pets to Crystal Bridges

Best Friends Super Adoption returns to Crystal Bridges on Saturday, Oct 11 and Sunday, Oct 12, featuring over 300 dogs and cats available for adoption with all fees covered.

  • Adopt Me! More than 15 shelters and rescue groups from across Arkansas will participate in the free event.

  • A Furry Friend: Expect local food trucks, family-friendly activities, giveaways, and exhibitor booths alongside adoption opportunities at the event. For those not ready to adopt, the event offers ways to support local animal welfare efforts and learn about the region's shelter needs.
