Frost Fest Returns For A Day of Community
The 10th Annual Frost Fest heads to Fayetteville’s Washington County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Feb 7 from 1-6p.
Celebrate Craft and Creativity: Sample beers from more than 60 regional breweries while enjoying live music, art, food trucks, and community.
Giving Back Feels Good: Purchasing a ticket to Frost Fest will fuel local impact, as the event has donated over $250,000 to Northwest Arkansas non-profits since 2016, supporting causes from sustainable agriculture to community programs.

As temperatures drop and snow arrives in Northwest Arkansas this week, Best Friends Animal Society reminds pet owners to protect furry friends from cold weather.

Local Aviation Company Partners With Make-A-Wish
Buffalo River Aviation, based in Bentonville, has partnered with Make-A-Wish Mid-South to become an official flight partner in Arkansas, helping children with critical illnesses travel comfortably to experience their life-changing wishes.
A Smoother Journey: As one of only a few private aviation companies nationwide offering this support, Buffalo River Aviation will provide private flights, allowing families to focus on making meaningful memories together during their Make-A-Wish trips.
Giving Back, One Wish at a Time: The company flew its first wish recipient out of Thaden Field in Bentonville to Disney World earlier this month. It aims to sponsor at least two wishes each year.

Lions Land in the Ozarks After Historic Rescue
Three African lions are settling into their new home after an international relocation from Honduras to Northwest Arkansas.
From Honduras to the Hills: Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge in Eureka Springs welcomed lions Cyrus, Zephora, and Juancito on Thursday, Jan 15, after a complex journey by sea, air, and road. The move marked the first time Honduras has relocated large felines to an accredited U.S. sanctuary.
A Global Team Effort: The mission was years in the making and involved Honduran environmental officials. Leaders say the operation sets a new standard for responsible wildlife management while giving the lions lifelong care in at the healthy habitat of Turpentine Creek.
