Globally Renowned Artist Painting Mural in Downtown Rogers
Francisco Díaz Scotta, an internationally acclaimed artist, is crafting a new mural in Downtown Rogers this week.
Mr. Worldwide: Architect-turned-artist, Scotta, has painted across the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. Now, he’s in Rogers as part of Specialized Real Estate Group’s Love Your Neighbor series.
Check it Out: His new mural celebrates Rogers’ cultural diversity and history, expressed through botanical symbolism. All are welcome to stop by the corner of First Street Flats by Aug 15 to watch the piece come to life.

JJ’s Live Announces Official Rebrand With New Name ‘Ozark Music Hall’
JJ’s Live, a Fayetteville music venue, has officially rebranded to Ozark Music Hall after polling its social media audience.
People’s Choice Awards: Back in late July, the venue asked followers to choose between three names for the rebrand: The Sound Bath, The Pig Sty, and Ozark Music Hall. After a few weeks of voting, the winner was clear.
New & Improved: The expansion includes more bars, a refreshed VIP area, expanded restrooms, and an upgraded backstage area for artists. To mark the occasion, the venue is offering $20 all-in tickets to four select shows this year,

Infrastructure
Springdale Highway Project Receives $24M Grant
The final section of Springdale’s Northern Bypass received a $24.46M federal grant, providing crucial funding for the area’s number one infrastructure priority.
Highways & Byways: Funding supports a 6.6-mile segment connecting East Springdale’s Highway 265 to U.S. Highway 412, which aims to reduce traffic and support economic growth in Northwest Arkansas.
High-Dollar Highway: This is a four-phase, high-dollar project. Phase one completed in 2015 for $100M. Phase two is under construction now for $180M. Construction on the final two phases hasn’t begun yet but the state forecasts it to wrap up in late 2031.

Downtown Rogers Art on the Bricks is mixing it up this month with ‘Bakeries on the Bricks,’ this Thursday, Aug 14, from 4:30-7:30p.
A Sweet Twist: Normally an art walk, the event will feature local bakers and dessert shops instead, showcasing baking as its own art form to the local community.
Tasty Treats: Expect a night of tasty baked goods and desserts, live music, vibrant art, local shopping, and a bakery-themed scavenger hunt across downtown.
