Donate Gifts For Children Spending the Holidays At The Hospital This Year
Arkansas Children’s Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive is set for this Thursday, Dec 14, collecting donations for children and families spending the holidays in the hospital this year.
Let It Snow: The statewide campaign aims to brighten the holidays for children and families in Arkansas Children's hospitals and community clinics. Donations stock the Snowflake Shoppe, a special holiday store offering free gifts for hospitalized children and their siblings.
The Christmas Spirit: Collect new and unused items from the hospital’s wishlist and drop them off at Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale between 7a-7p. Or shop online and have your gifts sent directly to the hospital. You can also make monetary donations.

Knock Out Some Christmas Shopping At The FayetteVINTAGE Winter Market
Shop a selection of carefully curated vintage vendors and local artisans during the FayetteVINTAGE Winter Block Party at the Fayetteville Town Center this Friday, Dec 15, from 2-8p.

FamJam Saturdays are back at the Jones Center with a holiday storytime adventure set for this Saturday, Dec 16, from 10a-2p.
Festive Fams: FamJam Saturday offers families a low-cost day of fun with monthly themed events. Each FamJam starts with a morning movement class, followed by a cool down with ice skating and swimming. Then, families gather for an afternoon live performance that combines learning, entertainment, and fun!
Jingle Jams: Dance, prance, and jingle your way across fun fitness challenges during the Reindeer Games Movement Class and twirl your way around the ice rink, then enjoy an immersive reading of the holiday classic, The Polar Express.

Rogers Historical Museum Receives National Recognition Apple Blossoms Exhibit
Rogers Historical Museum has received the 2023 Southeastern Museums Conference Gold Award for Gallery Installations for using technology to bring century-old music back to life in a recent exhibit.
Apple Of Our Eye: The SEMC Technology Competition celebrates the innovative use of technology in museums. Rogers Historical Museum won the Gold Award in the under $1,000 category for its A Parade of Apple Blossoms exhibit, which showcases the grand Apple Blossom Festivals of the 1920s in Rogers.
Echoes From The Past: The exhibit resurrected century-old songs from the museum’s permanent collection of sheet music that relates to the region's apple heritage. RHM collaborated with the Arkansas Arts Academy High School music department to record four songs from the 1920s, bringing these forgotten tunes back to life using modern audio recording technology.
