Crews Making Progress On Heartland Whole Health Institute
Construction on the Heartland Whole Health Institute is progressing in Bentonville, with over 180 brass fins currently installed along its nearly finished exterior.
Whole Hearted: Founded by Alice Walton in 2019, Heartland Whole Health Institute aims to revolutionize healthcare by focusing on a whole health approach focused on improving outcomes, reducing costs, and expanding access.
The Art of Wellbeing: The 75,000-sq-ft, multi-use office and community space designed by Marlon Blackwell Architects is located on the same campus as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Alice Walton School of Medicine, which is also under construction.

NWACC To Host Community Workshops At Integrated Design Lab
NorthWest Arkansas Community College is opening its Integrated Design Lab for a series of community workshops next month
Unlock Potential: The workshops include Intro to Laser Cut Jewelry, Intro to Textile Surface Design with Recycled Materials, and Make Your Own Sterling Silver Rings on Aug 3, along with Learn to Needle Felt on Aug 17.
Craft and Connect: Classes range from $30 to $65, giving participants an excellent opportunity to explore new artistic techniques, meet fellow creators, and learn from experienced instructors at the Evelyn E. Jorgenson Integrated Design Lab building in Bentonville.

Hope Academy, Arkansas's first and only trauma-informed charter school, is currently accepting applications for the 2024/2025 school year.
Supporting Families: Entering its fifth year, Hope Academy serves students in kindergarten through 4th grade as an extension of the programs of the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter. Hope Academy focuses on each student's social/emotional health and academic success while also providing wraparound services for the entire family.
Restoring Hope: All teachers and staff walk alongside each family as they navigate the difficult path caused by childhood trauma. With a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child receives the individualized attention and instruction they need to succeed. If your family has been affected by foster care, adoption, childhood trauma, or other adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), Hope Academy can help.

Arvest Ballpark Hosts Free Summer Movie Night
Send off summer in style with a free movie night at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale this Friday, Aug 2, at 7:30p.

Arkansas Air & Military Museum Welcomes Historic D-Day Aircraft During Warbird Weekend
Arkansas Air & Military Museum will welcome the historic C-47A aircraft that led the Airborne Invasion of Normandy on D-Day during Warbird Weekend, Aug 3-4.
Still Flying: Over 80 years ago, on June 6, 1944, That’s All Brother led over 800 C-47s in the main airborne invasion of Normandy, which dropped over 13,000 paratroopers into a battle that changed the course of mankind. The restored aircraft returned to the skies over Normandy last month during the D-Day 80th anniversary events in Europe.
All Aboard: As part of Warbird Weekend, attendees can take ground tours of the aircraft. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $12 for kids, including access to the entire museum. Living History Flight tours can also be booked aboard the historic aircraft for $269.
