Startup World Cup To Host Regional Qualifier In Northwest Arkansas
Startup Junkie has been selected to host a regional qualifier for the global finale of the Startup World Cup, a global entrepreneurship competition for a grand prize of $1M.
Make The Pitch: Startup founders can apply through Aug 5. The Top 10 will get to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges during the Regional Finals at the Pryor Center in Fayetteville on Aug 30.
Global Stage: The winning startup from the regional final will advance to the Startup World Cup Grand Finale in San Francisco on Oct 4 to compete for the grand prize of $1M. Over 2,500 attendees are expected to attend the conference, along with 20 notable speakers from across the globe, including Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec.

Art Of Wine Returns To Walton Arts Center With Summer Camp Theme
The 22nd Annual Art of Wine returns to Walton Arts Center, featuring hundreds of wines to sample, small bites from area restaurants, and local entertainment in support of arts education on Friday, Jul 12, at 8p.
Camp Vibes: This year’s theme is Summer Camp! Guests who donate during the event can participate in camp-inspired activity stations, including making friendship bracelets, custom wood-burned coasters, screen-printed pennants, and botanical-themed temporary tattoos. Thirteen Athletes With Ties To Arkansas Headed To Paris For The 2024 Summer Olympics
With the conclusion of the Olympic Trials, thirteen current or former Razorbacks are set to compete on the global stage during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from Jul 26-Aug 11.
Team Jamaica: Current Razorback Track & Field athletes Carey McLeod, Wayne Pinnock, Rojé Stona, Nickisha Pryce, Ackera Nugent, and Janeek Brown will represent Team Jamaica.
Team USA: Arkansas alumni Chris Bailey, Jarrion Lawson, Taliyah Brooks, Nikki Hiltz, and current Razorback athlete Rachel Glenn will represent Team USA in various Track & Field events. Incoming freshman Joscelyn Roberson will join Team USA as an alternate in Gymnastics events.
