The Momentary

After weeks of work and hundreds of gallons of paint, the Momentary has unveiled Context Shift, an 11,000-sq-ft mural by artist Carlos Rosales-Silva on the walls of the Momentary’s parking garage at the corner of SE 8th St and SE G St.

  • Changing Colors: Context Shift, by artist Carlos Rosales-Silva, uses bright colors and abstract shapes to explore how we interpret color differently based on context. The mural is part of a new collaboration between the Momentary, OZ Art NWA, and Rosales-Silva.

  • Whole Lotta Paint: Rosales-Silva and his team of four assistants, Christine Yerie Lee, Cassidy Fritts, Edward Salas, and Armondo Rosales Rivero, worked on the mural for three weeks in June. Context Shift is Rosales-Silva's largest mural to date and takes the lead as the largest mural in Bentonville.
