Donate To Fayetteville Public Library’s Fire Recovery Fund

The Fayetteville Public Library experienced a small rooftop fire back in April and is calling on the community to help raise funds to repair the building.

  • Where There’s Smoke: Thanks to the quick response of a staff member who smelled the smoke and the fire department, the fire was extinguished before causing permanent damage. However, quite a bit of smoke damage was caused to the administrative areas and youth libraries.

  • A Real Page Burner: The library’s insurance policies will allow for the repair of everything that was affected, but the $100,000 deductible must be covered first. So far, the community has contributed a little over $22,000. If you’ve made fun memories at the Fayetteville Public Library, consider returning the love with a donation—big or small, everything helps!
