The holidays are here, which means Christmas tree season in Northwest Arkansas is right around the corner.
So, to help you find the perfect tree (and maybe a hayride and some hot chocolate along the way), we put together a guide to spots where you can buy a real Christmas tree in and around Northwest Arkansas.

Wonderland is a classic choose-and-cut experience, with a hayride, shopping at the farm's mercantile, local food vendors, wreaths and greenery, hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, and a spot to send letters to Santa.
🌲 Fir Real: Cut your own Virginia Pine, Scotch Pine, White Pine, Leyland Cypress, or Turkish Fir, or grab a pre-cut Fraser Fir.
🎉 Deck the Calendar: Early Bird Weekend (Nov 21-22), Duck the Halls, a hunt for hidden Christmas duckies (Fri, Nov 27), Holly Jolly Pony Extravaganza Days (Nov 28-29), and Feliz Navi-Dog Day, when your pup can help sniff out the perfect tree (Sat, Dec 5).

📍 26489 Hwy 23, Huntsville (about a mile south of the square)
This farm off the historic Pig Trail got its start in 2022, and this year its first crop of trees is finally ready for cutting. It's a brand-new choose-and-cut option for the region!
🌲 Pine Time: Choose-and-cut Virginia Pines.
2026 Dates: Grand opening is Friday, Nov 20. Open Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday 9a-5p. Regular hours are Fri-Sat 9a-5p and Sun, Mon, Wed, and Thu 12-5p (closed Tuesdays).

The local garden center brings in premium Fraser Firs from the northern U.S. in sizes from 5 to 12 feet. Make sure to call your nearest location to check tree stock before heading over.
🎀 Garland Gang: Fresh cedar and pine garland cut to any length, plus wreaths, door boughs, and mixed greens.
📍 2692 N College Ave, Fayetteville (Gator Golf parking lot)
Every holiday season, the Gator Golf parking lot on North College turns into a seasonal tree lot, with fresh-cut trees kept shaded from the sun and real trees starting as low as $45.
🌲 Fir-st Pick: Balsam Fir, Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, and White Pine in a variety of sizes, plus handmade wreaths.
🎁 On the House: Staff will shake and bag your tree and help tie it down to your car at no charge.
