Heartland Whole Health Institute Announces John Findley As Cheif Medical Officer
Heartland Whole Health Institute recently announced John Findley will serve as the institute’s first chief medical officer.
Whole Hearted: The 75,000 sq ft facility, which will house the Heartland Whole Health Institute and its sister organization, Alice L Walton School of Medicine, is currently under construction in Bentonville near Crystal Bridges.
What’s Up, Doc? Dr. Findley brings nearly three decades of diverse experience to the table, having practiced medicine for 15 years in western Colorado and, most recently, serving as the president of Bryan Health Connect in Lincoln, NE.

Gulley Park Concert Series Kicks Off Tonight In Fayetteville
The 28th Annual Gulley Park Concert Series kicks off tonight, Jun 13, from 6:30-8:30p.
Summertime Singin’: The Gulley Park Summer Concert Series includes six concerts on Thursday evenings from 7-9p at the Gulley Park Gazebo. This year’s lineup includes Andrew Igbokidi, the Burnt CDs, The 1oz Jig, Marybeth Byrd, and Arkansauce.
Juice Box Hero: First act up is The Juice, bringing its unique setlist of high-energy dance hits, great vocals, and stand-out saxophone to the Gulley Park Gazebo Stage. Expect a genre-spanning journey through rock, funk, hip-hop, reggae, country, pop, and more.

Arkansas Graveler Experience Gearing Up For Epic Inaugural Ride
Around 400 cyclists are expected to participate in the inaugural Arkansas Graveler, a new event that will take riders on an epic six-day riding tour of the Natural State, enjoying food and activities along the way, from Jun 23-28.
Diamond of the South: Arkansas has roughly 69,000 mi of unpaved backroads, making the state’s beautiful landscape perfect for the rapidly growing sport of gravel cycling. Local cycling legend Scotti Moody (pictured above) will serve as the Event Director.
Rock On: The six-day, 340-mile bike journey will take participants down county and forest backroads throughout northern Arkansas, showcasing the state's natural beauty and culture. The ride will begin in Fayetteville at the University of Arkansas and end at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Registration for the first Arkansas Graveler is still open!

Opera In The Ozarks Prepares For 2024 Summer Season
Opera in the Ozarks, the summer music festival and prominent opera training program based in Eureka Springs, kicks off its 2024 Summer Season of Enchanted Evenings on Jun 21.
On The Mountain: The 2024 season features a talented cast of singers and professional musicians from across the country in four mainstage operas, including Giuseppe Verdi's La Traviata, Robert Ward’s The Crucible, and a double bill featuring Vittorio Giannini’s Beauty and the Beast and Maurice Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges.
On The Road: Additionally, the company will perform over a dozen traveling productions throughout Northwest Arkansas, including a Broadway Cabaret at Mount Sequoyah on Jul 11, the Chamber Music Concert on Jul 15 at Inspiration Point, and another Broadway Cabaret at the Crescent Hotel on Jul 16.
