Fayetteville Film Fest Prepares for Fifteenth Year
Celebrate the art of filmmaking and storytelling during the 15th Annual Fayetteville Film Fest, hosted all around Downtown Fayetteville from Oct 12-14.
Let’s Get Rolling: The festival will highlight a selection of narrative features and shorts, documentary features and shorts, international films, student films, music videos, and animations. Attendees can also join interactive panels and networking events to learn more about the art and business of filmmaking.
What’s Your Take? Bring your film idea to life by entering the 2023 Fayetteville Film Fest Pitch Prize. Pitch your film idea to a panel for a chance to win $2,000 to put toward your creative vision.

Explore 35 Acres of Antiques and Handmade Goods at The Junk Ranch
The Junk Ranch returns for its tenth year, turning Prairie Grove into an antiquer’s paradise from Oct 5-7.
Junker’s Delight: The craft fair begins with Shop Under The Lights on Thursday, Oct 5, from 6:30-9p — including live music from Nashville artist (and Northwest Arkansas native) Brittany Moore. The fun continues Friday, Oct 6, from 10a-5p, and Saturday, Oct 7, from 9a-5p.
Great Finds: Explore 250 booths across 35 acres and find vintage, antique, handmade, and boutique goods. Parking is free. Just follow the signs when you get to the property at 11195 CR-23 Centerpoint Church Rd.

Downtown Springdale Hosts the Final LIVE! at Turnbow Concert of the Season
Wrapping up a fantastic concert season in Downtown Springdale, the final LIVE! at Turnbow concert of the season is tonight with free, live music starting at 6:30p.
Soulful Sounds: The evening will kick off with Fayetteville-based cover band A & E Music, followed by headliner artist Branjae, presented by Music Moves, with her unique sound inspired by Classic Soul, Funk, and R&B.
Delightful Dining: Make a night of it by enjoying a meal before the concert in Downtown Springdale’s Outdoor Dining District. You can even bring your drinks to the show in one of the designated outdoor dining district cups — which, by the way, are 100% compostable.

The Medium Announces 2023-2024 Creative Exchange Fund Recipients
The Medium recently announced the artists, creatives, and organizations comprising the 23/24 Creative Exchange Fund (CXF) — a program offering opportunities for local artists to advance their creative work through funding and professional development at the Medium in Downtown Springdale.
Advancing art: Entering its second year, CXF is designed to support Northwest Arkansas artists and creatives by providing funding, access to space, and professional development resources. Overall, CXF will support the creation of over 30 art activations in 2023-2024.
Taking part: With support from the Tyson Family Foundation, CXF will distribute $103,500 to the 33 participating artists through five unique funding opportunities. Art exhibitions, dance performances, spoken word, artist residencies, and community events comprise this year’s projects, representing diverse voices and artistic mediums.

USL Arkansas Engages Community With Pitch to Pro Podcast

Aiming to invigorate the soccer landscape in Northwest Arkansas and deepen community engagement, USL Arkansas recently announced the launch of its official podcast, Pitch to Pro.
Telling the Story: The Pitch to Pro podcast will serve as a medium to cultivate fan engagement, provide soccer education, and give behind-the-scenes updates on the team's progress through bi-monthly episodes. Expect 20-30 minutes, covering topics like the club’s history and interviews with league officials, supporters, and community leaders.
Grassroots to Greatness: Join the story of the emerging soccer culture in Northwest Arkansas by tuning into the Pitch to Pro, found on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon, Google Podcasts, and iHeart Media. The first two episodes feature a conversation between Managing Director Wes Harris and Co-Founder Chris Martinovic.
