Walmart officially opened its new Home Office campus in Bentonville last Friday, ushering in a new era for the company that began as a small Downtown 5&10 and grew into the world’s largest retailer.
A World-Class Campus: Two of the 12 planned buildings are open, with others set to debut throughout 2025. Amenities include seven miles of bike trails, a 360,000-sqft fitness center, on-site childcare, and dining options like Wright’s BBQ, Flyway Brewing, and the 8th & Plate food hall.
Sustainably Built: The campus was built with sustainability in mind, using regionally sourced mass timber—the largest project of its kind in the U.S.—and features energy-efficient designs, renewable energy, and plenty of green space filled with over 750,000 native plants.
