Arkansas Gymnastics Gives Strong Preview To 2024 Season
Arkansas Gymnastics gave a pre-season preview on Sunday, showcasing a talented roster of athletes as it heads into the 2024 season. The Gymbacks will host Georgia at Barnhill Arena for the first meet on Friday, Jan 12, at 6:45p.
The Squad: Led by fifth-year head coach and Olympic Gold Medalist Jordyn Wieber, the Razorbacks’ 17-gymnast roster includes twelve returning athletes, an All-American transfer, and four highly celebrated freshmen.
The Floor: Arkansas will host five home meets this season, with three at Barnhill Arena and two at Bud Walton Arena for the very first time — against Oklahoma on Mar 10 and Nebraska on Mar 15. Five of the meets will be televised.

Last Call For Locally Crafted Christmas Gifts
If you’re looking for a few last-minute gifts to stick under the tree, stop by the NWA Makers’ Holiday Market at Ozark Natural Foods this Friday, Dec 22, from 10a-6p.
Who Makes That: The NWA Makers Club started in 2021 as a community of local makers, artists, and creatives. They host markets throughout the year and feature a wide array of products and services on their online directory to connect consumers to locally crafted goods.
Local Craftsmanship: Local makers will have their goods set up for shopping in the taproom at Ozark Natural Foods, so stop by and take advantage of one of the last opportunities to shop locally crafted items before Christmas.

Pedal It Forward Rolling Programs Down To Springdale
Pedal It Forward announced this week that it will open its third location in Springdale in partnership with The Jones Center — the shop is set to open in the spring of 2024.
Re-Cycled: For the past decade, Pedal It Forward has been collecting, refurbishing, and distributing bikes to those facing economic challenges, providing access to affordable transportation, health benefits, and the fun that bikes bring.
The Bike Shop: The 3,000ft2 shop will be housed in The Jones Center’s historic "truck wash" building. The open floor plan, large garage doors, and spacious courtyard will be perfect for the nonprofit’s bike storage, repair, and programming.

Gain Insights Into The Economy At The 30th Annual Arkansas Business Forecast Luncheon
The 30th annual Arkansas Business Forecast Luncheon, hosted by the Center for Business and Economic Research, will provide economic forecasts for the region, nation, and world at the Rogers Convention Center on Friday, Jan 26, from 11:30-1:30p.
On The Mic: Moderated by Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield President and CEO Curtis Barnett, the panel includes Gregory Daco, chief economist with Ernst & Young; Ellen Zentner, chief U.S. economist with Morgan Stanley; and Mervin Jebaraj, director of the U of A’s Center for Business & Economic Research.
On The Money: Gain insights into global, national, and local economic trends that could impact decisions for the coming year as the panelists provide perspectives on the changing economy. The luncheon will be preceded by a networking event from 10:45-11:20a.
