Yesterday, USL Arkansas announced Wes Harris as the club’s first official employee, taking on the vital role of Managing Director.
The Man: Harris moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2011, embracing the community as the ideal place to raise his family and call home. His profound love for the area, coupled with a deep understanding of what professional soccer clubs can do for communities, fuels his excitement to bring pro soccer to the region.
The Mission: As Managing Director of USL Arkansas, Harris's role will focus on community engagement, public relations, system and process development, fundraising, and more.

Update Your Houseplants at the Ozark Plant Swap

Update your houseplants and meet other green thumbs during the Ozark Plant Swap, hosted by Ozark Beer Company in Downtown Rogers, this Sunday, Aug 20, from 2-5p.
House Trained: This Swap will focus on house plants, so if you have any plants you're willing to part with, bring them along! You can also bring cuttings or seeds to exchange. And if you're not ready to let go of any plants, there will be plants available for purchase, too.
At the Bar: Pink Fern will have a booth showcasing beautiful terrariums, and By and By Studio will have a plant bar set up where you can choose a pot and plant and have it potted before you leave!

Right To Start Hosts NWA Summit for Entrepreneurs
Right to Start, a national nonprofit based in Kansas City, will gather business leaders and entrepreneurs from around the nation for a Celebration of Entrepreneurship at The Momentary on Aug 22, from 10a-4:30p.
Join the Conversation: The NWA Summit will showcase the work of Arkansas entrepreneurs, unveil new regional data, and highlight policy-in-action. Attendees will actively contribute and collaborate with entrepreneurs and policymakers to expand future entrepreneurial opportunities.
Join the Fun: Network with other business leaders during this day-long summit, including a lunchtime marketplace of local artisans and musicians, including the Marshallese dance group Oceanwave, an aerial performer, and more.
