Time to shine! Auditions for the 2nd Annual Bentonville’s Got Talent competition close this Sunday, Jun 30, at midnight!

  • Take The Stage: Share your talents for the world to see! Those selected for the 2024 Bentonville’s Got Talent will perform during the August First Friday gathering in Downtown Bentonville on Aug 2 from 5-7p.

  • Wow The Crowd: Performers of all ages and talents are welcome to audition. Just fill out the online form, upload a video of your talent, and the team of judges will contact selected contestants on Jul 8.

Don’t Miss Kidz Night At Gulley Park Tonight As Part Of Summer Concert Series

The 28th Annual Gulley Park Summer Concert Series continues with a performance by Burnt CDs and a special Kidz Night tonight, Jul 27, from 7-9p.

  • 00s Kids: This week’s musical guest is throwback band Burnt CDs, taking you on a thrilling journey down memory lane with their electrifying 2000s energy at the Gully Park Pavillion.

  • Party Time: In conjunction with the concert, Kidz Night will feature obstacle course inflatables, bounce houses, face painting, jumbo-size yard games, and more, thanks to the generosity of the local vendors and sponsors of the Gulley Park Concert Series.

Celebrate Independence Day in Siloam Springs!

Enjoy live music, food trucks, yard games, and more during the inaugural Fourth of July Block Party on Thursday, Jul 4. The party starts at 5p on Sue Anglin Dr, near the rodeo grounds, and ends with fireworks after it gets dark.

  • Dive Into Fun: Live music kicks off with Southern rock band Maud Crawford at 6p. Skydivers fly in with the American flag at 7:05p before a presentation of colors and the national anthem at 7:20p. Then, country music artist Clay Page takes the stage at 7:45p.

  • Boot Scootin’: Dust off your boots for some line dancing led by Glenda Mueller during Maud Crawford’s set, along with other fun activities like cornhole, bounce houses, and face painting. Plus, a delicious lineup of food trucks will be available starting at 5p!

XNA Barely Misses Top 100 Busiest Airports In USA But In Top Five Fastest Growing

Data from the U.S. Department of Transportation revealed Northwest Arkansas National Airport (XNA) was the nation’s 102nd busiest airport last year, just shy of 1 million passengers in 2023.

  • Quick Take Off: XNA had 972,866 paying passengers in 2023, marking a 19.7% increase over the previous year. Only four airports in the US outpaced that growth rate, including Asheville, N.C.; White Plains, N.Y.; Louisville; and Raleigh.

  • Onward & Upward: In a recent session of the Onward Ozarks speaker series, airport COO Andrew Branch shared details about the airport’s plans for growth, potential new flight routes, and ongoing projects like the current terminal renovation.
