Northwest Arkansas Community Rallies Around Those Affected By Severe Storms
I stopped by Rogers High School yesterday afternoon and witnessed some incredible community service in action to meet the needs of those affected by this weekend’s storms.
Just A Kid: Aside from the mountains of donations that the community has pooled together in such a short time, what really impressed me was the number of high school students eager to lend a hand. School may have ended early this semester, but so many students and dedicated faculty are still in the halls at RHS, trying to make a difference in their community.
Feeding The Hungry: Business owners and good neighbors are working hard to keep the community fed. Some amazing folks I saw distributing free meals around Downtown Rogers included Flashback Pizza, TXAR House BBQ, Tyson & Walmart employees, and more.
Please reply to this email if we can help get the word out about free meals or volunteer opportunities. We’re doing our best to keep an updated list of resources HERE.
