AQ Chicken Rises Like a Phoenix From The Charcoal Ashes
Dating back to 1947, AQ Chicken House in Springdale once ruled the roost in terms of local chicken joints. The restaurant closed its doors earlier this year, but a group of locals has plans to get the place back up and cluckin’.
Rehatching Old Times: After the restaurant's closure in March 2022, a new ownership team, comprised of Tom and Robin Lundstrum and Jacob and Gracie Lively, acquired the brand with a commitment to rekindle the spirit of this cherished Arkansas classic.
Stoking the Coals: Driven by a deep appreciation for the restaurant's legacy, the new owners aim to preserve the traditions that made AQ Chicken House iconic, like its signature over-the-coals chicken and welcoming atmosphere, while implementing updates that will keep the legacy going for generations to come.
Set to open in 2025, follow AQ Chicken for updates HERE.
