Unleash Your Inner Paleontologist: Jurassic Quest Coming To Rogers

Jurassic Quest is stomping into Northwest Arkansas with its extensive display of realistic dinosaurs and interactive exhibits at the Rogers Convention Center this weekend, Mar 1-3.

  • Land Before Time: Jurassic Quest is the largest traveling dinosaur exhibit in North America, featuring interactive activities, bounce houses, and detailed replicas of prehistoric creatures like a 60-ft long Spinosaurus and a life-sized T-rex.

  • Life, Uh, Finds A Way: Live out your Jurassic Park dreams by digging up triceratops fossils, petting baby raptors, and more — some of the animatronic dinosaurs are even ridable (it probably means kids only, but it never hurts to ask).

Professional Podcast Studio Space Opens In Rogers

PodcastVideos.com unveiled its new studio in Rogers last week, providing a professional audio and video recording space for companies, agencies, and individuals looking to elevate their storytelling efforts.

  • The Pod: The 1,500-sq-ft space includes eight small studios for remote interviews or solo recordings and three four-person studio layouts, including a conference room, lounge, and news desk setting. Owner Eric Howerton hopes the space will eliminate obstacles and “empower companies to produce high-quality content more frequently and at lower costs.”

  • Going On Record: The podcast studio’s existing clients include shows like Doing Business in Bentonville with Andy Wilson, The Matt Waller Podcast with Matt Waller, Pitch to Pro Podcast with Wes Harris, and Big Talk About Small Business with Eric Howerton and Mark Zweig.

Fuel Accelerator Launches Into 2024 With HealthTech Cohort & New Cybersecurity Track

Launched in 2018 by local nonprofit Startup Junkie, Fuel has pioneered six accelerator programs with 51 cohort companies through its HealthTech and AI & Machine Learning programs. The program will introduce a new Cybersecurity track this summer.

  • Fuel for Your Health: Fuel’s second HealthTech Accelerator begins on Mar 12, including eight startups whose solutions range from AI-enabled digital health platforms to automated devices focusing on mental health to administrative efficiencies, all working to solve major issues in healthcare and improve patient outcomes.

  • Fuel For Your Security: Applications are open for Fuel’s inaugural Cybersecurity Accelerator, which begins Jun 4. Designed exclusively for trailblazing cybersecurity startups, participants will receive targeted mentorship, collaborative networking, and access to cutting-edge resources.

Botanical Garden Of The Ozarks Hosts Annual Orchid Show & Sale

A stunning display of orchids is in bloom at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks for the 13th Annual Orchid Show & Sale, scheduled for this weekend, Mar 1-3.

  • Orchid Enthusiasts: Organized by the Orchid Society of the Ozarks, the special exhibit will feature displays of orchids from regional orchid societies and individuals, which will be judged by American Orchid Society-accredited judges.

  • An Orchid Array: Celebrate the start of spring by exploring a wide variety of orchids: pink, purple, white Phalaenopsis, “moth orchids,” and so many more. The show opens to BGO members on Friday, Mar 1, and to the public on Saturday and Sunday.

Northwest Arkansas Built Platform Protects Artists Work From Unauthorized Use By AI

A group of Northwest Arkansans are working to protect people’s intellectual property from the unauthorized use of Artificial Intelligence. A groundbreaking platform, File Baby confirms the origins of documents, images, audio, and video files, providing users with confidence in the security of their digital assets.

  • Hey, That’s Mine: File Baby empowers artists, attorneys, inventors, filmmakers, and anyone with digital intellectual property to claim ownership of their work and restrict AI from using their content. The platform was developed by Karen Kilroy, Orson Weems, Scott Harris, and Ethan Kuhl in collaboration with Friends of Justin, a nonprofit research lab focused on facilitating trustworthy human-AI collaboration.

  • First Up: Local hip-hop talent BAANG of Love More Records became the first artist to secure their work on the platform last week, claiming an upcoming single set to release on Mar 1.
