WOZ Sunset Summit Has Something For Everyone to Enjoy

The 2nd Annual WOZ Sunset Summit is ready to roll this weekend, Sep 15-17, with a weekend of women-led rides, clinics, discussions, and more. Plus, a brand new expo event open to the public!

  • Join the Ride: The three-day event brings top industry leaders and world-renowned coaches to Bentonville for a weekend all about building confidence and community for women around cycling. The annual fundraiser supports the year-round programs of Women of OZ.

  • Gear Up: This year, the WOZ Sunset Summit offers a brand-new shopping hub experience for attendees and the public to enjoy premier cycling gear and goodies from local vendors and nationally recognized brands. The WOZ x Engel & Völkers ReSet Expo will be open to the public throughout the weekend.

Celebrate Ozark History and Culture at the Cane Hill Harvest Festival

A 36-year community tradition, the Cane Hill Harvest Festival pays tribute to Ozark culture with a day of live music, local artists, craft demonstrations, delicious food, and more on Saturday, Sep 16, from 8a-3p.

  • Well, Butter my Biscuits: Kick off the day with an Ozark Country Breakfast, then explore the Arts and Eats Market, including vendors, sorghum pressing demonstrations, craft demonstrations, tours of historic buildings, and a quilt show.

  • Family Friendly Fun: Children can enjoy the Kids Zone, offering free face painting and activities from the Amazeum, Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, the U of A Entomology Department, and more.

Samaritan Community Center Celebrates Grand Opening of New Campus

Samaritan Community Center officially moves into their new facility with a ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration tomorrow, Sep 12, at 3p.

  • Growing Together: The nonprofit has been serving Northwest Arkansas since 1989, evolving from a food pantry into a holistic provider for the region’s needs through programs like SnackPacks for Kids, counseling services, dental care opportunities, and more.

  • Expanded Care: The new 40,000ft2 facility in Rogers is complete with a mental health counseling center, dental center, a teaching kitchen, a 4-acre farm, and a collaborative care center offering free services and classes.

Local Artists, Comedians, and Monarchs Take Center Stage at the Downtown Springdale ART WALK

From art crawls and comedy shows to vendor fairs and a Monarch Butterfly Parade, Downtown Springdale’s ART WALK has something for everyone to enjoy this weekend, Sep 14-16.

  • The Perfect Start: The three-day festival kicks off Thursday with an ART Crawl from 6-8p, including a drink, featured stops along the ART WALK, and artist meet & greets for just $5. Add some laughter with Comedy Night at the Apollo on Emma, featuring the ART WALK Comedy Troupe. Shows start at 4p and 8p.

  • Take Flight: The Monarch Flight Festival will take place Saturday from 12-4p at Turnbow Park. A Monarch Parade at 3p will end with the release of newly hatched butterflies at Shiloh Museum. During the event, shop local vendors and artisans as part of the Emma Exchange at Shiloh Square, beginning at noon.
