Exciting Trail Updates In Development for NWA Mountain Bikers

Trailblazers recently shared some exciting infrastructure updates around the region, including the start of a unique treehouse project in the center of the Bluebird Loop trail in Bella Vista.

  • Heating Up: A beginner skill-building trail called Wildfire is now complete, serving as a progression to the more advanced Uwambami, where riders can practice berms, features, and jumps in an easily repeatable experience. The crew now turns to the “Firnas project — the world's first adaptive skill-building jump trail, set to open this fall.

  • The Climb: The Trailblazers team is also partnering with the Arkansas Climbers Coalition to develop a climbing center at an undisclosed location to help grow the climbing sport in our region by offering world-class beginner to expert trails.
