Fayetteville Kicks Off Summer With Its Inaugural Strawberry Festival

Kick off the summer season during the Fayetteville Strawberry Festival, a showcase of local food, music, art, and, of course, strawberries at the Downtown Fayetteville Square this Sunday, May 19, from 12-6p.

  • Strawck On: Enjoy live entertainment across two stages, including performances from Trout Fishing in America, Dandelion Hearts, 360 AllStars Circus, Gone Country, Noah Richmond's Little Monster, Abbey Pierce Band, and Newco.

  • Berry Cool: The streets will be filled with fun for all ages, including a dog parade, pie-eating & pie-baking competitions, food and art demonstrations, a honky tonk street dance, and even a pop-up skatepark.

Blue Crane Closes Deal On 2,700 Acres Of Undeveloped Land In Bella Vista

On Friday, real estate development group Blue Crane met with members of the Bella Vista community to announce the purchase of 2,700 acres from Cooper Communities Inc.

  • The Blues Brothers: Blue Crane is the real estate arm of Runway Group, a holding company that primarily invests in outdoor recreation and hospitality initiatives. The group is led by Steuart Walton and Tom Walton, the grandsons of Walmart founder Sam Walton.

  • Bike-tirement Community: No plans have been revealed for what’s to come, but Blue Crane assures community input will be considered. According to Talk Business & Politics, Tom Walton hinted at pushing Bella Vista to the forefront of Northwest Arkansas’s mountain biking conversation and the city's evolution from “a retirement haven [to] a full-fledged outdoor recreation destination.”

Hang Out With Local Gymnastics Hero Lauren Williams At Generations Bank

Generations Bank will host a meet-and-greet with Arkansas Razorbacks Gymnast Lauren Williams at its Fayetteville location this Tuesday, May 14, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

  • Local Legend: Generations Bank recently announced a NIL deal with Arkansas sophomore Lauren Williams, the program’s first in-state recruit in over a decade. Williams is a Rogers native who trained at Aspire Gymnastics Academy and graduated from Bentonville High School.
