Join Crystal Bridges For A Water Party At Its Brand New Splash Pad
Crystal Bridges will host a free Splash Day: H2O Party at its new Campus Parking Plaza and Splash Pad this Sunday, Aug 18, from 11a-3p.
Splash Parking Lot: The new Campus Parking Plaza offers free parking for Crystal Bridges, the North Forest Trail, the Amazeum, and more, along with retail spaces and the newly opened Plaza Café.
BYO Towel: Engage in friendly competitions and water-based challenges, create water-themed art and water experiments with Super Science NWA, and dance the day away with beats by DJ Chris Kyzer.

Washington County Fair Returns Next Week For Its 167th Year
It's time for Ferris wheels, funnel cakes, petting zoos, and more as the Washington County Fair takes off next week, open from 10a-10p daily from Aug 20-24.
State Title: Founded in 1857, the Washington County Fair is Arkansas's largest county fair. From bull riding and carnival rides to pageants, art displays, and a free petting zoo, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Join The Fun: Admission is $5 cash or $7.50 card per person for ages six and up. Children under five are admitted for free, and armbands with unlimited ride access can be purchased for $30. On Friday, the carnival will stay open until 2a for Midnight Madness!

TheatreSquared’s 2024-25 Season Opens This Month With A Raisin In The Sun
A Raisin in the Sun, the monumental American classic written by Lorraine Hansberry, will take the stage at TheatreSquared in Fayetteville on Aug 21 and run through Sep 15.
65 Years Of Hope: Lorraine Hansberry's timeless masterpiece, set on Chicago's South Side, explores the generational struggles and dreams of the Younger family. It was the first show written by a Black American to be performed on Broadway and offers as powerful a testament of hope and dignity today as it did when it debuted in 1959.
Claim Your Seats: Performances of A Raisin in the Sun are scheduled Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30p, along with 2p matinees on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets range from $30-$68. Save 15% when you subscribe to the entire 19th Anniversary Season.

Enjoy A Community Campout At The Jones Center
The Jones Center in Springdale will celebrate the end of summer with a salute to nature, exploration, and shared time around the campfire during the Community Campout from Sep 6-7.
Around the Campfire: Learn how to set up a tent and make yourself at home at North Community Park on The Jones Center campus. Staff will be on hand to make the experience fun and easy. Whether you love to camp or want to learn how, this event is for you!
In Tents: This night of outdoor fun includes campfire cooking, s’mores, storytelling, games, live music, and more in a safe and secure campsite perfect for families with young children. Campsites are $50 for up to six people.

Downtown Rogers To Host The Northwest Arkansas Community Showcase
Celebrate our community's many cultures during the NWA Community Showcase in Downtown Rogers on Saturday, September 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Out Of Many, One: Organized by the Rogers Lowell Chamber with support from Pepsico and the Walmart Family Foundation, the Community Showcase will feature a day of multicultural experiences that highlight our diverse community.
It’s A Party: Enjoy performances throughout the day on Butterfield Stage and explore an exhibition of local vendors and artists around the Downtown area, including food samplings during the Battle of the Chefs competition. The new Playard will also be open at Railyard Park for kids to enjoy!
