RedBall Project Bouncing Its Way Around Northwest Arkansas This Fall
RedBall Project, considered the world’s longest-running street art project, will debut in Northwest Arkansas this September.
Bouncing Around: RedBall is a traveling public art piece by American artist Kurt Perschke. The piece has been to over 40 cities globally, including Paris, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo, and more, moving through a city with a new site each day of the performance. View a special RedBall Project Exhibition at MIXD Gallery in Rogers from Sep 10-15.
Ready To Roll: From Sep 11th to 15th, the 250-lb, 15-ft inflatable ball will be squished and stuffed into creative locations in Bentonville, Siloam Springs, Springdale, and Fayetteville. Join artist Kurt Perschke for an Artist Talk at 21C Museum Hotel in Bentonville on Sep 11 at 6p.

Courtyard Sessions At The Momentary Continues With NWA Jazz Society
The Momentary’s free Courtyard Sessions series continues with a performance by Youngjoo Song 4-Tet this Friday, Aug 23, from 7-8:30p.
Stage Takeover: Each month, a different music organization from the region showcases artists on Friday evening in the Arvest Bank Courtyard at the Momentary. The NWA Jazz Society organized August’s lineup. Next month, the stage turns over to Music Moves.
All Jazzed Up: The Youngjoo Song 4-Tet is comprised of Youngjoo Song, one of Korea’s leading jazz pianists, John Ellis on sax, Ryan McGillacuddy on bass, and Steve Pruitt on drums. Enjoy live music, food options from the Momentary Food Trucks, drinks from the RØDE Bar, and family-friendly activities in the courtyard.

Benton County Relief Fund Has Distributed $1.9M To Date
A testament to the region’s generosity, the Benton County Relief Fund has already distributed $1.9M in short-term financial assistance to households and nonprofits impacted by the devastating storms on May 26, 2024.
Households: The majority of funds, $1.47M, have been distributed directly to 1,576 households. Eligibility for assistance was open to households earning $125,000 or less annually. The fund is not exhausted yet, but applications are no longer being accepted.
Nonprofits: Around $500K has supported thirty-three nonprofit organizations, assisting with expenses ranging from facility repairs to relocations. These nonprofits have provided a wide variety of services to the community, including free debris removal, emergency shelter, food, clothing, hygiene items, specialized education services, and out-of-school care.

Smoke On The Horizon! Frisco Inferno BBQ Competition Returns To Downtown Rogers
Registration is now open for the 9th Annual Frisco Inferno, the Official BBQ Competition of Bikes, Blues & BBQ Motorcycle Rally, hosted in Downtown Rogers on Sep 20-21.
Smoke The Competition: Enter a team to compete against the top BBQ masters, showcase your unique flavors, and vie for the coveted Judges’ Choice and People’s Choice awards. Registration is $250 and includes a supply of both pork butts and turkey breasts and two complimentary tickets to the event.
The Meat Sweats: Festivities kick off Friday, Sep 20, with a sauce competition, followed by the smoked meat competitions on Saturday, Sep 21, from 12:30-3p. Tasting tickets can be purchased for $10, including five 1-ounce samples and voting tickets.
