This week, the Walmart AMP announced Third Eye Blind as the latest addition to the 2024 Cox Concert Series, joined by special guests Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A on Wednesday, Jul 31.

  • On Deck: Following a record-setting 2023, the Walmart AMP is setting course for another great year with sixteen performances already headed our way, including Hozier, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sarah McLachlan, Hootie & the Blowfish, Styx & Foreigner, Niall Horan, and more.

  • Semi-Charmed: To commemorate the 25th anniversary of its iconic song Jumper, Third Eye Blind is releasing the world’s first playable silver-coated or gold-coated records, with a limited number of made-to-order solid gold records.

Northwest Arkansas Celebrates Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The NWA MLK Council invites the public to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King with a series of community events during the 2024 MLK Recommitment Weekend from Jan 12-15.

  • Unity & Culture: The weekend begins with the Beloved Community Festival, a free event including music, food, dance, art, and more representing the vibrant cultural tapestry of Northwest Arkansas at Crystal Bridges on Friday, Jan 12, from 6-10p.

  • Humanity In Hues: The 28th Annual Recommitment Celebration will feature a conversation with award-winning author, journalist, and professor Nikole Hannah-Jones, live music, refreshments, and the 2024 Salute to Greatness Awards ceremony at the Fayetteville Public Library on Saturday, Jan 13, at 5p.

January’s Art On The Bricks Explores The Psychology Of Shapes

This month’s theme for Art on the Bricks in Downtown Rogers is "It's Hip to Be Square,” featuring the unique way artists utilize the four-sided design element on Thursday, Jan 11, from 4:30-7:30p.

  • Be There: Every second Thursday of the month, more than a dozen galleries, shops, and restaurants partner with area artists to highlight the creative talent of community members and support the local creative economy in Downtown Rogers.

  • Or Be Square: Quilts, paintings, collages, mosaics, photography, and other art media will highlight the beauty of the square as artists identify the symbolic nature and psychological impact made by utilizing squares in design to communicate symmetry, stability, comfort, practicality, and more.

Conquer Kessler Mountain During The Frozen Toes 5K and 15K

The Frozen Toes 5K & 15K, Fayetteville’s annual cold-weather trail run, returns to Kessler Mountain Regional Park next Saturday, Jan 20, at 9a.

  • Nothing Chill About It: Take a break from the pavement and try the trails in south Fayetteville. Kessler Mountain's singletrack trails can be technical in some areas, but stellar views like these are worth the struggle!

  • At The Finish Line: Options include a 5K and 15K course, and registration includes participant socks, a finisher medal, hot soup, a cold beer, and a chance to win awesome raffle prizes. There are also volunteer opportunities available!
