
Samaritan Community Center and J.B. Hunt Transport Partner to Host Job Fair in Rogers
ROGERS, Arkansas, JANUARY 20, 2026 — Samaritan Community Center (SCC) is partnering with J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. to host a job fair for entry-level employment opportunities on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Samaritan Community Center in Rogers. The event will also include participation from Snelling Staffing.
The job fair is designed to connect community members with meaningful employment opportunities while leveraging SCC’s mission to support individuals on their path toward stability and self-sufficiency.
“This collaboration allows our neighbors access to opportunities they may not otherwise have,” said Chris Koerner, Director of Operations at Samaritan Community Center. “Through partnerships with organizations like J.B. Hunt, along with added community support such as Goodwill’s résumé assistance and Dress for Success, we’re able to elevate how we serve Northwest Arkansas.”
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with recruiters, learn about available roles, and take next steps toward employment in a supportive and accessible environment.

ABOUT Samaritan Community Center
Samaritan Community Center (SCC) is a nonprofit organization based in Rogers and Springdale, Arkansas, serving the hurting and hungry of Northwest Arkansas through comprehensive wraparound services. In 2025, SCC provided groceries to 81,676 individuals, served 82,547 meals, and distributed 196,690 snackpacks to at-risk children through its nutrition programs. The Samaritan Care program supported 3,993 individuals with resource referrals and case management. Through its charitable clinics, SCC provided free dental care to 1,560 uninsured, low-income adults and delivered $117,600 worth of professional counseling services. The organization also harvested 29,003 pounds of fresh organic produce from its Samaritan Farm. SCC operates two thrift stores in Rogers and Springdale, which generate approximately 40% of its annual operating support.
