Wild Night in Store for Terrific Tuesdays At Botanical Garden of the Ozarks
This week’s Terrific Tuesdays event at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks will be equal parts wild and chill. Join the free, family-friendly event in the garden on Aug 8 from 5-8:30p.
Chill Animals: Last week’s Amazing Animals program was postponed due to high temperatures, but the critters will make an appearance tomorrow night for the Ice Cream Social. Say hello to a 13ft python from Reptile Refuge, stop by a petting zoo from Greedy Goats, and meet various animals from Backyard Buddies.
Well, Hot Dog! Bring your blankets and lawn chairs for a picnic. Grab a hotdog from Atomic Dog and indulge in some mouthwatering Blue Bell ice cream. There will be water slides and sprinklers to help you cool off from the summer heat.

Give Back to the Community by Dining Locally
Help raise funds for the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank and local food pantries by dining at your favorite Bentonville restaurants during the Square Meals event on Aug 9-10.
Feed the Hungry: Northwest Arkansas Food Bank provides nourishment to over 70,000 individuals in our region. Donations raised through Square Meals will go directly to nine NWA Food Bank-affiliated food pantries in Bentonville.
Dine Together: On Aug 9-10, dine at one of the participating restaurants around Bentonville, like Oven & Tap, Bar Cleeta, or Flying Fish, and proceed from your meal will go towards feeding the whole community. You can also participate in Square Meals by donating online!

Support Families Suffering Infant Loss During The Go Blue Cocktail Fundraiser
The Remembering Nicholas Foundation will celebrate its namesake’s third birthday during the 3rd Annual Go Blue Cocktail Fundraiser on Aug 26 at Shadow Valley Country Club, raising funds for its ongoing support of families suffering infant loss and infant safety education.
A Hand to Hold: The Remembering Nicholas Foundation provides support to families suffering infant loss, assisting financially with hospital bills, funeral expenses, and counseling, and providing emotional guidance during their time of bereavement.
Happy Birthday: The 3rd Annual Go Blue Cocktail Fundraiser is an annual celebration to honor Nicholas' earthly birthday and all of his angel friends. The event will include a silent auction, open bar, and live music, with proceeds covering education for childcare providers in SIDS and Safe Sleep Awareness, Pediatric CPR, and First Aid Certifications.

Celebrate Love and Chocolate in Downtown Rogers During Art On The Bricks
Art on the Bricks will be extra sweet this month with the celebration of National S’More’s Day and the first-ever American Love Project event in Northwest Arkansas this Thursday, Aug 10, from 4:30-7:30p.
For the Love: The Rogers Experimental House will host a free workshop and maker station led by Karen Blessen, founder of The American Love Project, on Thursday, Aug 10, from 2-3:30p. Started in 2021, the project was designed to plant seeds of love and compassion necessary for the work of repairing social wounds and divisions.
S’more what? View works of art from the American Love Project while enjoying pop-up S’More’s Stations and related treats around Downtown Rogers. Over a dozen galleries, shops, and restaurants will be open, highlighting the artists in our community.

Johnelle Hunt Pledges $250,000 to Support UAMS Northwest Regional Campus
Johnelle Hunt, co-founder of J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc., has pledged $250,000 to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) to establish the Hunt Family Fund for Excellence.
Continued Growth: The Northwest Regional Campus includes over 300 medical, pharmacy, and nursing health professionals and students across 15 regional facilities. Northwest Arkansas’s rapid growth has created challenges for the region's healthcare needs, and Hunt hopes that her donation will inspire others to contribute to UAMS' efforts.
Building Out: This fund will support UAMS Northwest Regional Campus activities, including a feasibility study for the development of operations on 48 acres of land in Rogers, which was acquired by UAMS in 2021.
