Walmart Unveils New Whole Health & Fitness Center

The Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness will open on Walmart’s new home office campus tomorrow, Jan 12 — the first of several employee amenity buildings to open at the new headquarters.

  • In The Club: Membership eligibility extends to all part-time, full-time, and temporary Walmart and Sam’s Club employees in Northwest Arkansas, including long-term associates meeting specific criteria.

  • Whole Health: The 360,000ft2 facility was designed with members’ whole health in mind, including an indoor pool, fitness areas with weights, studios for yoga and other classes, a meditation garden, tennis and pickleball courts, hydromassages and cryotherapy, and much more.

Canopy Northwest Arkansas Kicks Off 2024 With A Feast

Canopy Northwest Arkansas will host Feast with Friends, a Central African-themed family-style dinner, at Brick & Mortar in Downtown Rogers on Monday, Jan 15.

  • Welcome Home: Canopy NWA is a refugee resettlement agency focused on forming communities where refugees are welcomed and equipped with all they need to build new lives. Since December 2016, Canopy NWA has welcomed over 650 refugees to Northwest Arkansas!

  • At The Table: Renowned Chef Marshall Shafkowitz of Brightwater and Guest Chef Irvine Mbanga will craft a Central African-themed family-style dinner for guests to enjoy. Following the meal, international food historian Dr. Sevin Gallo will moderate a conversation with Chef Mbanga, exploring culture and cuisine from the unique perspective of a refugee.

Time To Party: Arkansas Gymnastics Hosts Season Opener This Friday

Led by fifth-year head coach and Olympic Gold Medalist Jordyn Wieber, Arkansas Gymnastics will host Georgia at Barnhill Arena for the season opener this Friday, Jan 12, at 6:45p.

  • A Full House: Razorback Gymnastics has set a new season ticket sales record for the third consecutive season with over 2,250 sold. Arkansas will host five home meets this season, with three at legendary Barnhill Arena and two first-time meets in Bud Walton Arena — where they will host reigning national champs Oklahoma on Mar 10.

  • Celebrate The OG’s: Each home meet has a theme, beginning this Friday with Big Red’s 50th Birthday & Alumni Night! Celebrate Arkansas’s original mascot with cupcakes, a birthday sing-along, and a look back at all of the Gymbacks who have made Razorback history!

Meet Northwest Arkansas's top wedding and event vendors during the 6th Annual Wedding Fair on Sunday, Jan 21, from 12-4p.

Old Crow Medicine Show Rolls The Wagon Wheel Through Eureka

Iconic folk group Old Crow Medicine Show will perform at the Auditorium in Eureka Springs next Saturday, Jan 20, at 7:30p.

  • Aud History: The historic Eureka Springs City Auditorium, built in 1928, has hosted big names in entertainment, including Ray Charles, Alison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, BB King, Willie Nelson, and Doc Watson. The first performance in the space was John Phillip Sousa and his 67-piece band.

  • Rock Me, Mama: Old Crow Medicine Show started in 1998 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Grammy-winning American folk band is known for its energetic blend of old-time string music and bluegrass, producing noteworthy hits like Wagon Wheel and Sweet Amarillo.
