Help Best Friends Animal Society Find Homes For Pets During Clear The Shelters Month
August is Clear the Shelters Month, and Best Friends Animal Society is teaming up with local shelters and rescues in Northwest Arkansas to promote pet adoption and fostering.
Save Them All: The national Clear the Shelters campaign by NBCUniversal Local has helped over 860K pets find homes since 2015. Best Friends works to prevent the unnecessary killing of animals in shelters due to lack of space. However, shelters in NWA are struggling with adoption rates down and intakes at an all-time high.
Not All Heroes Wear Capes: When you adopt from a shelter, you not only save the life of the pet you adopted but create space for another animal in need who can take that pet’s place in the shelter and receive care, shelter, and food.
Meet your Best Friend at the Pet Resource Center in Bentonville, or view adoptable pets online HERE… if you think you can handle the cuteness.
