GoatLab Brewery Named Official Craft Brewery Of The Arkansas Razorbacks And Arkansas Edge

GoatLab Brewery in Lowell has been named the Official Craft Brewery partner of the Arkansas Razorbacks and Arkansas Edge, the Hog’s official NIL collective.

• Cheer & Beer: Rooted in family values and German brewing traditions, GoatLab epitomizes the heart of local business in its commitment to excellence and community engagement. Owner Bill Adams also founded The Grove Comedy Club and plays a significant role in the local nonprofit Ale-Truism.

• Tusk On Tap: GoatLab’s new craft beer, TUSK, was brewed with Razorback fans in mind. Proceeds from TUSK sales will support NIL opportunities for Arkansas student-athletes, and spent grain from the brewing process will be shipped to live mascot Tusk VI as a snack for lending his Name, Image, and Likeness to the project. TUSK is on tap now at GoatLab and will be available in local stores starting Aug 15.

SOAR NWA Hot Air Balloon Festival Takes Off In Bentonville This Weekend

The 5th annual SOAR NWA hot air balloon festival is coming to the Benton County Fairgrounds this weekend, Aug 16-17, taking the fun to new heights and opening avenues for our neighbors with disabilities.

• Helping Others Fly: SOAR NWA raises funds for Open Avenues — a nonprofit that has been serving Northwest Arkansas since 1975 by providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

• Reach For The Sky: Enjoy a variety of events, including evening balloon glows, tethered balloon rides, a kid zone, circus performers, helicopter rides, fireworks, a beer garden, food vendors, a car exhibit, and live music — including a performance by acclaimed country artist Coffey Anderson!

Monster Truck Insanity Tour Roars Into Springdale

The 10th Anniversary of the Monster Truck Insanity Tour is roaring back into Parsons Stadium in Springdale this Saturday, Aug 17.

• In The Pit: Get an up-close look at the monster trucks during the preshow pit party, starting at 5:30p. Take pictures with the trucks and drivers, and enjoy fun activities in the kids’ zone.

• King Of The Monsters: Watch monster trucks compete in Insanity style two-wheel skills, heads-up battle bracket racing, and insane high-flying, mud-flinging freestyle featuring the OG monster truck, Bigfoot. Engines fire at 7:30p.

Hatch Farm Hosts Second Annual Peach Festival & Scottish Highland Showcase

Hatch Farm will host its 2nd Annual Hatch Farm Peach Festival & Scottish Highland Cow Showcase at their farm in Wesley, between Goshen and Elkins, this weekend, Aug 16-17.

• A Real Peach: You might recognize Hatch Farm from local farmers’ markets, where they sell flowers, jams, blueberries, and other chemical-free produce. The farm’s not far from Orthodox Farmhouse Brewery if you’ve been meaning to get out that way for a cold craft beer!

• Lil’ Moo’s: The $15 entry fee includes a complimentary peach and a day filled with food trucks, local vendors, and activities. Kids can enjoy a petting area with piglets and see the farm’s newest Scottish Highland calves. Live music will be provided by Dime A Dozen and Chelsey James.
