Nelms Dyslexia Center Now Open In Fayetteville

The Nelms Dyslexia Center is now open in Fayetteville, providing assessment and therapy for those in our region with dyslexia.

  • Inspiring Potential: Nearly 20% of the population experiences dyslexia, yet many who go undiagnosed are led to believe that they “aren’t smart.” In reality, dyslexia is neurological in origin and not related to one’s intelligence. Many with dyslexia, including the Center's namesake Don Nelms, have made extraordinary contributions in business, science, art, government, and athletics.

  • Full Potential: The Nelms Dyslexia Center is the first of its kind in Northwest Arkansas and the only multi-faceted dyslexia center currently in the entire state. The Center’s highly trained Certified Academic Language Therapists provide assessments, reading therapy, teacher training, and information for families to help people with dyslexia unlock their full potential.
