Photo Recap: C3 Summit 2024

Over 400 attendees gathered at the Fayetteville Public Library last Thursday for the 6th Annual C3 Summit to discuss ways to impact lasting change in our community.

Formerly known as Coordinate NWA, C3 Summit stands for Celebrate, Connect, Capacity Building. Hosted by Hark at Excellerate Foundation, the Summit is intended to elevate the potential of local leaders to enact positive change in our community.

During this immersive full-day event, industry experts and thought leaders explored crucial topics like Harnessing Innovative Technology for Positive Impact, Cultivating Board Health and Advancement, Effective Fundraising and Grant Writing for Nonprofits, Innovative Housing Solutions for NWA, and more.

Over 260 organizations were represented at the summit this year, including for-profits, education, healthcare, and more.

Event Recap

• Attendees spent the morning recapping the greatest needs in NWA via Hark data with Josh Hall (Vice President, Excellerate Foundation / Executive Director, Hark).

• Structured networking sessions were led by Lacey Bailey (Director of Social Support, Excellerate Foundation) and Nick Cowan and Rebecca Frey of Potter’s House.

• Shantell Hinton-Hill, Senior Equity Officer of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation, delivered a keynote about ALICE in Arkansas.

• The afternoon was packed with breakout sessions and a happy hour with live music by King Chicken.

• Helping Hands of Benton County received the Hark Impact Award and a check for $25,000.

• Ellie Hoyt of SOAR After School won a brand new 2025 Specialized Hybrid bike gifted by The Bike Route in Fayetteville. Ellie is an avid rider but sadly lost her bike in the May 2024 tornadoes. She’s pumped to start riding every day again!
