New Restaurant Brings Authentic Southeast Asian Cuisine to Downtown Rogers
House 1830, a culturally authentic Southeast Asian restaurant featuring dishes from Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand, opens today in Downtown Rogers.
Home Cooked: Named after the owners’ childhood home, House 1830 serves a menu of quintessential dishes from Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. The menu will rotate with the seasons to recreate an authentic eating experience of Southeast Asian cuisine the way it was meant to be eaten.
Looks tasty: Get a sneak peek at some menu items on the restaurant’s Facebook, like Banh Xeo, a Vietnamese curry crepe with seasoned shrimp and pork filling, and Goi Nem Nuong rolls. They’ve also teased some signature drink items like the coffee-based Yok Lho and a refreshing Ka Chiep tea.

Arkansas Volleyball Hosts Historic Midweek Matchup
Hosting a #1 ranked team at home for the first time in 13 years, the #21 Arkansas Razorbacks take on the #1 Wisconsin Badgers this week at Barnhill Arena on Wednesday and Thursday at 7p.
Our House: Arkansas and Wisconsin have never faced one another at a non-neutral location. With the homecourt advantage, Arkansas looks to defeat a top-10 team inside Barnhill for the 3rd time in 2 seasons — following its two top-10 home wins last season.

Registration Now Open for the 2023 Fall Square 2 Square Bike Ride
Break out the helmets and tune up your bikes for the 2023 Fall Square 2 Square Bike Ride, hosted by Bentonville and Fayetteville Parks & Rec teams on Saturday, Oct 7.
Southbound: Participants in the local tradition will ride 30+ mi from Lawrence Plaza in Downtown Bentonville to Walker Park in south Fayetteville via the scenic Razorback Greenway, making pit stops along the way in Rogers, Lowell, Downtown Springdale, and Lake Fayetteville.

Northwest Arkansas’s Sales Tax Numbers Level Out In August Report
After a record-setting July, Northwest Arkansas’s sales tax growth slowed to 5.4% in August, with the big four of the region bringing in a combined $9.712m in revenue.
August Numbers: Bentonville brought in $2.414m this August, up 10.54% from the prior year. Rogers reported $2.572m, a 4.52% increase over Aug 2022. Fayetteville reached $2.669m, showing a 5.54% rise over last year. Springdale grew 0.72%, with August sales tax revenue totaling $2.056m.
Optimistic Outlook: Across the eight months of reports for 2023, the four cities have collected a combined $75.182m, showing 10.77% growth over the same period last year. With several significant events like Bikes, Blues, & BBQ, College Football Season, and others increasing visitor numbers to the region in the coming months, leaders anticipate continued growth throughout the end of the year.
