Arkansas Predicted To Finish Third In SEC in Preseason Poll

NWA Daily

Coming off its third straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearance, Arkansas men’s basketball is ranked 14 in the preseason AP poll. The team has been predicted to finish third in the SEC and recently saw two players named to preseason All-SEC teams.

  • Guess Who’s Back: Trevon Brazile made first-team All-SEC despite only seeing the court in nine games last year due to a season-ending knee injury. In his short run, Brazile led the team in rebounds and blocked shots and was the team’s leading 3-point shooter at 37.9 percent.

  • Do it, Devo: Davonte Davis has earned a second-team All-SEC honor for the second time in his career. The only player on the team to have been present for the back-to-back-to-back Sweet Sixteen appearances, Davis is just 59 points shy of 1,000 for his career as a Razorback.

Arkansas hosts an exhibition game against UT Tyler tonight at 6:30p. Find more info HERE.
