Start Your Razorback Weekend Off With Some Fall Baseball
How about some Friday night baseball to pregame this weekend’s football matchup with BYU? Razorbacks Baseball will host its Annual Fall Classic, featuring a free intrasquad scrimmage at Baum-Walker Stadium this Friday, Sep 15, at 6p.
A Little Preview: Arkansas achieved a 43-18 overall record in 2023 and took home its fourth overall SEC championship — its second in the last three seasons. The Hogs are the only SEC team, and one of just two teams in the country, with at least 40 wins from the last six full seasons.
A Little Freeview: From parking to entry, the Fall Classic is completely free to the public. Concession stands will be closed, but outside food and drink are allowed — including coolers in the Hog Pen.

Northwest Arkansas Resident Recognized for Her Incredible Journey Overcoming Debt
A Fayetteville woman’s inspiring story of paying off over $35,000 in credit card debt was highlighted during the NCFF Annual Conference in D.C. with the 2023 Brighter Financial Future Award.
Burdened by Debt: Staring down $35,000 of credit card debt, Jennifer Bryant turned to local nonprofit CCOA for guidance. With the help of CCOA’s Debt Management Program, Bryant was able to pay her debt in full in under five years, despite facing enormous challenges along the way, including job changes and the passing of her husband.
Brightened Future: The Debt Management Program provided budgeting and financial strategies, lowered her interest rates, stopped late fees, and lowered her monthly payments so Bryant could successfully repay the debt — avoiding debt settlement which can hurt credit score and incur tax consequences.
