Applications are open for August to September Classes at the Community Creative Center, which features six-week courses in a variety of artistic mediums.
Unleash Creativity: Classes focus on different skills such as ceramics, watercoloring, acting, painting, creative journaling, drawing, printmaking, monotype printmaking, glass fusing, and more!
Develop Skills: These courses are a great way to take your hobby to the next level and develop skills with the guidance of experienced artists from the region. Plus, it’s a great way to meet others who share your interest in various creative pursuits!

Thaden School To Expand With Lower School Campus
Thaden School in Bentonville recently announced plans to add to its campus, creating space to expand its K-1 and 6-12 academics to a fully integrated K-12 school by the 2026-27 academic year.
Interest: Construction on the Lower School campus, funded by Olivia and Tom Walton and Kelly and Steuart Walton, will begin in January 2025 and be completed by fall 2026. After that, the buildings and land will be donated to Thaden School.
Lower School: Founded in 2-17, Thaden has grown to over 320 students in grades 6-12. The school will kickstart its Lower School offerings this fall, beginning with grades K-1.

Make A Mess With Macaroni Kid At Lokomotion
Back for its fourth year, the NWA Mess Fest with Macaroni Kid returns for a fun-filled, messy day at Lokomotion in Fayetteville on Jul 27, from 10a-12p.
Go Loko: Mess Fest will take place in the meadow behind the mini golf course. Lokomotion Family Fun Park will be offering Large single-topping pizzas for $14 and a Buy 2 Attractions-Get 1 Free deal on go-karts, mini golf, Lazer tag, bumper boats, and more.
A Total Mess: Community vendors will have a variety of fun stations for kids to enjoy, like shaving cream painting, mud pie station, slime, water beads, and a sandpit Dino dig. Bring a change of clothes, because it’s gonna get messy!
