New Brewery Set To Open This Weekend In Downtown Rogers

Small batch craft brewery Greenhouse Aleworks will open its doors for the first time in Downtown Rogers this Saturday, Dec 16, from 12-5p.
New Neighbors: Greenhouse will occupy the space where Mavis Wine Co. used to be at 718 N 2nd Street. Meet the team! Pictured left to Right: Tristan Wallace (brew team), Travis & Lauren Banks (owners), Teddy Pepper (brew team).
New Flavors: Travis is a former partner of Social Project Brewing Co., so if you’ve been a fan of brews there, get excited to try some of the small-batch creations he’s been working on in this new project.

Funding Approved For Extension Of Springdale Northern Bypass

The Arkansas Department of Transportation has approved a $180.87m bid from Emery Sapp & Sons Inc. to extend Highway 612, also known as the Springdale Northern Bypass, covering a 6.9-mile stretch from Highway 112 to U.S. Highway 412.
Life Is A Highway: Construction on the second phase is expected to start next spring or early summer, with an estimated completion time of 28 months. The project will be finished by 2027 if things go according to plan.
Rivers & Roads: The project involves an interstate-style, four-lane freeway featuring 16 bridges and three interchanges, including one for the future connector leading to Northwest Arkansas National Airport.
