USL Arkansas Launching U20 Academy Team To Cultivate Local Talent

Teen soccer players in Northwest Arkansas have an exciting new opportunity to further develop their talent thanks to a collaboration between USL Arkansas and Sporting Arkansas to launch a U20 Academy Team. The best youth players from the region will be selected to start competing this fall.

  • In The Club: USL Arkansas was formed by Chris Martinovic and Warren Smith to bring Men’s and Women’s professional soccer clubs to NWA and build a 5,000+ seat stadium in Rogers.

  • Steps to Success: Led by an experienced staff of former collegiate and professional players and coaches, the U20 Academy team will compete with professional academies from Major League Soccer, the United Soccer League, and regional men’s college programs — as well as the USL Academy Cup and other USL-sanctioned national events.

Tryouts are happening this week for boys born after Jan 1, 2005. Find a schedule HERE.
