Stems by Em is an independent floral studio that has been serving NWA for 7 years. Emma Ripplemeyer enjoys working within the Northwest Arkansas community. “I love the ability to create something fresh and infused with personality with a client”. She comments on the talent in this “little corner of Arkansas”, saying, “There is a true sense of community over competition, and it's so refreshing!” Emma also donates flowers and services to Canopy, the local refugee resettlement nonprofit, and decorates for their yearly fundraisers. From throwing a casual dinner party to upscale weddings, Stems by Em focuses on the individual client to create the perfect floral design for any occasion.

Cindy Stevenson has dreamed of becoming a florist since her earliest memories. She owned Zuzu’s Petals and Gifts for years and served the Northwest Arkansas area with daily arrangements, weddings, events, and design studio classes. She has recently made the shift from shop owner to independent, focusing on gardening, flower growing, and more. Cindy is a cultivator of floral design, saying, “I dreadfully miss the team and family we have always created in the shop. I love teamwork and individual creativity and loved watching students blossom and take liberty in the art”.
